My name is Conrad Berglund, originally from British Columbia where I studied art at N.I.C. I’ve been tattooing for over 20 years now after starting my apprenticeship in Calgary, and I’ve worked throughout Alberta, B.C., and Manitoba over the years. I enjoy tattooing a lot of different styles, but I especially like large scale black and grey work, coverups, and colourful illustrative tattoos. I’ve always loved strong designs that flow well with the body and hold up over time. Some artists that have inspired me throughout my career are Kurt Wiscombe, Filip Leu, Steve Moore, and Caleb Rivers. Tattooing has given me the chance to spend decades doing what I love, and I’m grateful to still be creating alongside such a talented team at Red Deer Tattoo Co!
